PB1B: Inspecting Genre Generator

There are many different ways we can find things that we are looking for but the one place that we can find the answer to almost everything is "Genre Generator".If you are very confused about what car to buy, what movie to watch, where is the best place to buy an investment property etc then genre generator websites will always have an answer for your questions. In the 21st century, we don't even need to do much to find out very important information that is very helpful. The first website I choose for this assignment is Sci-gen. Sci-gen is a program that generates random computer science research, paper, citation etc. Also, Sci-gen is a website where you can write down any author name of your choice and a complete science paper comes up with all the citation, research and useful information that might be needed for a research paper. Especially if someone is struggling with writing a research paper on computer science that is the website that will help them completely through the process so they can get their paper done with minimum work and maybe learn a lot from this website =because this website gives you the information and also the citation where the research information was gather form. Also, the convention of this website is an internet, research, computer etc. The second website I choose is Comic strips. If you are someone who gets bored really easily or has a lot of time to waste and like reading this website is for u. The comics on this website is pretty long and funny in many different ways. If you are someone who gets offended by curse words and don't really like reading for a long period of time that this website is really not for you because the comics in this website is for pretty long period of time and there seem to be only two characters who sometimes uses words that everybody might not like. Also, this website should not be for little kids because this website can cause them to learn the certain type of words that are not really pleasant and proper. Also, this website can relate to many people in real life or in personal life many ways and the convention of this website is comics, people, curse words etc. The third website I chose for this assignment is called Memes:memegenerator.net. The first time I looked at this website I started to laugh the second I open it. It is a website where people can create their own memes and post it on this website. Some of the memes are very funny and some memes do have some cursing words. As like many other websites we do have to create an account to post our own memes. Also, there are so many memes on this website that I never heard of and some memes don't even make sense to me. Everyone on this website has their own unique style of memes that they post. Also, some memes have words that I never heard of and some memes have words that may be very offending to some people. The unique thing I found about this website is the memes that are posted has a picture of funny animals or of famous TV celebrities in a funny/sad situation pictures in their shows. This website can help many people to come up with many different memes and make them think about a meme that might be really funny and no one has come up with that meme yet. The convention for this website is endless because we never know who is going to post what so some convention can be animals, TV celebrities, memes etc. The website I found for Genre generator is called song-lyrics generator. On this website, there are many different categories like artist, x-factor, dating profile generator in on one website. If you click on an artist name then this website gives the option to write down a word you are thinking of, places you want to visit etc and this website will find a song that matches up closely to a song that artist has published. Also if you click on the title x-factor and write down an animal, words, person, gender, location this website will come up with all the participants that had something to do we the things you wrote down. This website can help many people in many different ways by looking up a song they were trying to find the name of or who was the singer etc. Also, this website can help me personally because I get frustrated when I can't think of a song name or the Singer who sang the song that I been trying to listen. so form now this website can help me do all that things in just one place. Also, the coolest thing I found on this website is you can create your own dating profile on this website. The convention of this website is music, musicians, love etc.

    Hey Mashiur, I liked how you went in depth and explained all the generators you used. I agree with everything you said. I like how you found the song lyrics generator because I do the same thing I cant remember the song name but I do remember one specific line. Maybe Ill use that in the future when I forget the song name. I would like to point out that you didn't use pictures of the generators you used it would be helpful to see if I am using the right generator or not.

    I agree with everything you say, I like that you did song lyrics because I did they same thing and I could see the differences and similarities that we both had. I thought it was interesting that you chose sci-gen. I learned a lot from what you put on about it because I didn't know anything about Sci-gen. I thought it was interesting on how you used links instead of pictures because it made me more intrigued on what it each thing was and what it included.

    hey! I totally agree with what your saying, its cool you chose song lyrics because i feel like a lot of us listen and love music, so it was a genre we could relate too! I know that whenever i hear a song on the radio or my friends give me the aux and i cant think of the name to a song ill just type in the lines I do remember either into google or YouTube and wait for the name to pop up! Good work:)

    SO in my opinion, genre generators break down genres into smaller genres. For the sci-fi generator, what other genres do you think gets broken down into? Or do you disagree? Maybe instead they are each an examples of conventions?
    I noticed you mentioned people getting offended over comics, but for me I feel like for this cussing might be a big convention for those types of comics.
